Hey Reader!
It's the first day of Fall (even though it's supposed to be 85° here in South Carolina today)! I'm a warm weather girl through and through, but I'm getting excited to start sewing some cold weather items! What's your favorite season to sew for?
I'm also working super hard on something Halloween related that will be launching later this week (make sure you open the next newsletter😉). It's going to be SO fun!

The Rosalie Crossbody Bag

We have been working on this adorable crossbody bag inside the Sewing Society and it has been so much fun seeing everyone's end result! Have you tried stretch thread yet? I don't mean elastic string... I mean a regular thread that you can use with your sewing machine (yes you read that right). Use it to sew knit fabrics with a straight stitch without having it snap and break. It's called Mettler Seraflex Thread and it's pure magic.

Sewing Machine Hair Claw Clip

Can you even handle how cute this claw clip is? When Sarah Hearts first shared it a couple months ago I knew I needed it ASAP. I was able to meet Sarah at Indie Craft Fair here in Greenville South Carolina and it was so great to finally meet her in person after years of following each other on Instgram!
