Hey Reader!
Yesterday I was watching a watercolor tutorial and the teacher shared a quote that was very encouraging to me. She said, "You only walk the path of the beginner once". When it comes to painting, I am most definitely a beginner, but what a great thought, that you only have to learn all those very basic things once, then you know it!
If you are just getting started sewing, or trying to learn to use a serger, or maybe you've quilted for years but you're just getting into making clothes, try to keep that in mind! You only walk the path of the beginner once!

Ruffle Swim
By Lowland Kids
This swimsuit is my absolute favorite for little girls. The ruffle legs paired with the peplum look is almost too much cuteness to handle. Since this is a two piece, it makes diaper change and potty breaks easy, plus you can get creative and mix/match the tops and bottoms to have so many different pairing options! It's an easy sew and will have you excited for warmer weather!

Ember Mug
I like my coffee HOT! Like if it's been sitting in a mug for 2 minutes it's already too cold for me. But I also want the feeling of drinking out of a mug while I'm at home, a travel mug just isn't the vibe, ya know??
I got an ember mug for Christmas and I've been LOVING it! It keeps your coffee just as hot as when you poured it (or hotter!). If you like your coffee scalding your throat on the way down like me, you should get one too!

All of the Mother Sews Best courses are taught via video lessons. You might be thinking "how could I possibly learn to sew from a video?!" but our videos are different. We zoom in, get ultra specific and walk you through each lesson step by step so you can follow along. Oh, and because it's a video you can watch and rewatch as muc has you need! Check out Sarah, a member of The Sewing Society, who loves learning via video:
"Having (re)learned how to sew with the MSB course, the first few times I did an envelope pattern or an indie one with no video, I definitely noticed how much I had leaned on that video format and the explanation of the steps. ...I love having the videos to look at steps that aren't clearly described or illustrated in a way I understand. Certainly a plus in the Society, and super helpful!
